Community news posting

UKT is a community site, so the content comes from community members such as yourself. The community news posting feature allows any site user to post news (subject to moderation).

Guidelines

The less checking and correcting we have to do, the quicker and more likely it is that your news post will be accepted. So:

• Please check your spelling and punctuation before submitting
• Ensure your news post is formatted as you would expect a news post to be formatted (links as links, paragraphs etc.)

Under no circumstances:

• Cut and paste news word-for-word from another site
• Use this feature purely to advertise your own organisation or event

Note that:

• Content on UKT is shared across sites in the network, so UKT may not be the only place your news item appears.
• We reserve the right to edit/remove news posts as we see fit.
