After pointlessly moving from resonance to unicon, do you feel this has helped the team in anyway?
Well at the moment we havn't seen any obvious benefits from the move from resonance to unicon, as a fair few of our players including myself are from the south and can't really make it to Manchester without a good reason, however, with the support of their facilities and future lan events hopefully to take place, in their long run our partnership can only strengthen us both.
What do you hope to achieve at the unicon LAN?
I was just thinking about this actually, looking at the teams that are going, I think we are POTENTIAL winners although definitely not favourites, there are about 3 or 4 clans in our situation, G2XS will be no competition as they suck at LAN, drenz will be falling off bridges left right and centre... our online result against MM proves we definitely have the ability to push them, as for the other clans I think 2s2p could go either way and Forsaken could be a surprise package.
Who are you hoping not to come up against?
If I had to pick ONE team I would rather not play it would probably be G2XS, we've played them in a few pcws recently and they've wiped the floor with us, although LAN is a different arena totally if they can perform as well as they do online they're in with a good chance.
Who's gonna be SOL?
Without a shadow of a doubt zeLL will be our online hero, as he's proven time and time again, he will categorically SUCK on LAN.
Prediction - 5th
Unicon have slowly improved over the last few months, but upto now they've not really set the world alight on the LAN stage. Their first game is against the other middle seed, 2seXeh. This game's a tough one to call, but Unicon will be hoping to get off to a good start and give monkey magic a run for their money in the 2nd round. Should they lose to 2 seXeh, a fixture with proficient shouldn't prove too difficult.

After a few below-par LAN performances, do you believe G2XS can put the
doubters to rest at this LAN?
It's just another LAN for us lot we always try to do well but 11-13 always tends to be the final score, but yeah with few new players in the team and some new tactics should hopefully do well. As for the doubters I dont give a toss, the people who we like know who they are and the others can keep crying.
What do you hope to achieve at the unicon LAN?
Just playing for fun mate but wanna play more than 2 games which seems to be our failure up to now.
Who are you hoping not to come up against?
Well I dont know the finalised list of clans yet but I know MM are going and they seem sound enough will be a struggle for anyone to beat em imo but we'll give it a crack eh.
Who's gonna be SOL?
We always have two peeps who play wack at each lan hopefully we past that now but if LaBiB plays badly it will crack me up coz he thinks hes a god. Callisto will surprise some peeps I hope dude gets a bit of hassle.
Predication - 7th
With a completely different lineup to previous LAN's, I can't see game2xs doing much damage at this LAN. A first round fixture against Nocturne is a game they probably won't be looking forward to, which will then be followed by a game against either ForsakeN or Xtra, neither of which will be a walk in the park. It's a shame g2xs havn't been able to sort a stable line-up for this LAN as I'm sure criticism will once again come their way if they don't perform well.

I can't think of anything to specifically ask a mix team, but with shaq in the team do you hope he can carry the rest of you?
Why else would we have shaq in the team, he's blonde, ugly and no one likes him (altho the same is true for the danneh) We are just gonna sit back, relax and let the pro gamer do the business for us, and well if he doesn't he'll have the danneh to answer to and belive me he can get pretty fierce when he has to.
What do you hope to achieve at the unicon LAN?
Obviuosly the top aim is to achieve those lovely UKT points, then secondly it's to get the danneh recognized as not just an online hardman, but a LAN hardman. We are currently in process of setting him on people we don't like. So Kensai | Ryu better watch his fucking back! Oh doh forget to say I really wanna play 2s2p tho and bone 'em good this time.
Who are you hoping not to come up against?
Well proficient sound pretty scary so not them. And definalty not g2xs if that legend Drenz is playing for em.
Who's gonna be SOL?
Apart from myself I think maybe ShaQ might get a bit nervous if he has to sit next to the danneh. Didn't someone say Proficient have cheaters in their clan? And hopefully g2xs will win a game this time cos its long overdue.
Prediction - 6th
Going to the LAN with a mixteam immediately puts them at a disadvantage over the other clans. But they've all had experience playing together in ForsakeN before so I'm sure tactics won't be a problem. Their first game against Xtra will prove tough, but this is perhaps the match where a first round upset is more likely. If they lose to Xtra as expected, a game against game2xs will be the most likely fixture for them, where there they'll have to deal with the drenz playbook and all the things that go with it, whether they're up to the task remains to be seen.

With a sponsorship deal acquired, have these new headphones made you ready to compete with the best the UK has to offer?
First off the headphones are great, they give us the edge! We are also in further talks with Sennheiser so we have to wait and see what develops there. In recent weeks we've something approaching decent basic team play and with wolfeh becoming active in the lineup again, and attending Unicon, this has also been a huge bonus.
What do you hope to achieve at the unicon LAN?
Our aim for Unicon is top 3 definitely. Obviously a victory would be fantastic but with teams like MM and g2xs who have been together for a lot longer than Xtra its difficult to predict how the results could turn out.
Who are you hoping not to come up against?
The strongest team at the event looks like Monkey Magic on paper, we've had some close and also some not so close games with them so yeah we wouldn't mind avoiding MM.
Who's gonna be SOL?
And its got to be TamilTiger for being SOL, his reputation preceeds him as being completely SOL. If you mention this to him hell just tell you he destroyed GLtC at UKT2 on his own for the previous Xtra, but after that he's got nothing. TT for slayer!
Prediction - 3rd
A generous seeding means Xtra will face up against ForsakeN first round, where they'll be expected to advance to the next stage, despite this being their first competitive LAN together. A match with Nocturne will follow if they do beat ForsakeN, where they'll be hoping to justify their 2nd seed.

You guys planning on taking more swimming lessons before this LAN?
Instead of swimming lessons this time it's going to be hard night of drinking at mr jawj heart (bodkins) abode wearing speedo's....
What do you hope to achieve at the unicon LAN?
We will be hoping for a good performance to carry on from where we left off from at the last UKT event and try to place in the last 4 at unicon LAN.
Who are you hoping not to come up against?
With Xtra back on the scene and practising really hard I think they will be the team to watch out for at the event ( apart from tt as he is soo SOL) after some really good results at LAN events in the past, also monkeymagic with the ginger singing rav0r are going to be the big guns everyone is gonna try and avoid early on!
Who's gonna be SOL?
With SHAW playing to much HALO of late he's being my SOL from 2s2p (claims his halo spray is gonna rock on lan for cs.. ) but from the all the teams going TamilTiger is clearly the favorite for SOL even his own team are confident he can live up to all the expectations.
Prediction - 4th
Following on from a successful UKT5 LAN, 2seXeh will be hoping for more of the same at unicon. Chances are they'll probably battle it out with unicon for that 4th place spot, and I think they'll take it. Being together for so long will obviously give them an advantage in the teamwork department, we'll just have to see if UKT5 was a one off or not.

I and every other person on this website has no idea who you are, care to
explain?
We basically started out as a bunch of friends who were struggling to get into any of the decent teams, like, top 10 uk. We've all played for a long time, but never been to lans really. So since we all live very near to each other, we decided it was a good opportunity for a clan, and to get to lans easier. Our players were from some good teams, not exactly well known though.
What do you hope to achieve at the unicon LAN?
At the unicon, obviously, we would like to win it, however, realistically we will probably finish middle, not first, not last...
Who are you hoping not to come up against?
The teams we didnt want to come up against, were Monkeymagic and Xtra. The others we have a chance against, these two we are sceptical. However, monkeymagic is our first game, so we will be practicing a lot.
Who's gonna be SOL?
Whos gonna be SOL? No one hopefully, however there were accusations flying around about particular members in my team. I would really like to see them do well on LAN, for my sake, and their own. My mind would be at rest, if they can play well on lan, like they do online.
Prediction - 8th
They might get a few round here and there in the 2 games they play, but I think a 4th/5th place finish is like saying Forlan will score more than 1 a month for Man Utd.

How's preparation going? Have you guys managed to sort tactics for every map yet?
We've been playing whenever we can, having 6 players mean we normally have 5 on at most times, but with me working, mikes uni, alex at uni, kae and kard at college, it's pretty hard. We have been playing a bit, but tactics are still a little sketchy. Should all be sorted by saturday though.
Worried about AnNuM turning up?
Not worried at all. He's been to unicon plenty of times, and wants to shut all the d**ks up who keep mocking his stupidity for missing a train, so I'll be smiling, and I'm sure he will be, when he smokes them on LAN.
What do you hope to achieve at the unicon LAN?
We hope to win of course, the only reason we are going is to get some 1st places under our belt, obviously for sponsorship. I dont think we'd be happy with anything but 1st place, so we're trying pretty hard to get it, but mm and Xtra are definately threats atm, due to there time together as teams.
Who are you hoping not to come up against?
Looking at the brackets it looks as though we've been seeded 3rd, which is dissapointing, but I suppose being realistic, its good enough. We meet both Xtra and MM, so theres not really anyone we cant hope not to meet, cos we play the best 2 there (so long as we beat g2xs of course).
Who's gonna be SOL?
I hope to see mike slayer, he's coming all the way from south london, his first LAN for like a year, so it will be funny to mock him if he Slayers.
Prediction - 2nd
I think this LAN might be a little too soon for Nocturne, with a few more weeks preperation I could have seen them winning it, but as it stands at the moment the PM ignorers will be the obvious favourites. But who knows, they could pull off an upset.
