My Departure From UK CS

Many of you here on UKTerrorist never heard of me 'til about a year ago, but I think I might say after having been the head organiser of the Clanbase CS NationsCup V and the UK/IE Cup I and II, as well as being a regular news poster on UKTerrorist, many of you know a bit by now.

After having played in the (UK) CS community for about 2 years, having had a lot of fun, I've found it a pleasure to do something back, as I've learned to respect and even made friends to quite some people in the past year.

After June's UK/IE Cup LAN Finals, I was in quite some doubt on whether I should put in the effort to make another step forward with the competition and take it even further as in becoming a serious and established LAN event as well, whether or not in cooperation with either Stono and Obsidian from CSGN or Myers and Teppum from the UKESA.

Recent events involving my personal life, have made me make up my mind very quickly tho, namely in the person of a wonderful girl I fell in love with, and to my joy this love comes from both sides.

I very much enjoyed the time around, but regarding it realistically it would take up a lot of my time to run a 3rd tourney and stay up to date within the UK CS scene, time I would rather invest in this girl (besides study, other friends and a spare time job which are all also claiming this).

Therefore I decided to resign as Clanbase admin, and will go inactive as UKTerrorist newsie. My thanks go out to all who deserve it because of their support, cooperation and respect over the past months.

Maybe you havent seen the last of me and will I return now and then to cover a LAN event here on the site like I did with the past two CPL events and various British LANs, but for now I wish you all the best and a fare well.
