	Hotshot Choke 00:08 9/4/2004	(This was an automated post) It's just been confirmed that the UK division of team-xtra has folded. The team had just succesfully completed their first CSGN season, with a respectable finish and signs of improvement throughout the campaign. Xtra also attended the first incarnation of the We Got Rhythm LAN , with a 3rd place finish. Bruiser explained the reason behind the split. The team has been going downhill for a while. Some players werent committed, and there was a general feeling of complacency within the clan. Lack of practice, little teamwork and no tactics meant that we were not fit to play at the level that we were at, and after a string of defeats in which little or no practice was put into, we decided to call it a day. If anything, CS getting too boring for some members was the biggest factor in the breakup. So with LastChance folding, and now Xtra a relative blight appears to be afflicting some of the top UK teams. Let's hope this isn't the start of a trend. 	-Naz- fightclubclan 12:21 9/4/2004	Any clan that has been around for a while like xtra knows that your performances go up and down in phases, usually relating to how much practice the team has had. I know its really frustrating to lose to a team who you know you can beat usually, but it feels like you are at a total low losing. Its just impossible to put the time in to practice and stay at a high level without some big incentives like big cash prizes. I think many of the younger players have the idea of gaining respect as their motivation for playing so much cs, without any real rewards - and dont understand the dedication it takes to stay as a top10uk clan. They form a clan, practice s***loads, win some pcw's against good teams, fold... if they stuck around for more than a month they would start losing and would fold for that reason anyway. i cant remember what i was talking about, so ill stop [ Comment: Report \| IP: Logged ]
