Uprising In Scotland

The 8th (or is it 9th) Uprising Lan in Scotland has been announced for the 2nd - 4th of May. Taking place at the Craigswillow centre once again, the event lasts for 3 days (Friday-Sunday), and costs £30 for the duration.

There is a Counter-Strike 5v5 tournament with Cases provided by Cool Case Mods for the winners, and case windows for the runners up. There is normally also a Quake 3 tournament however there has been some discussion of changing this to UT2k3.

The capacity is of the venue is around 100 so head on over to the Uprising Website for signups and directions. The event is always a lot of fun, and is one of the better LANs I've attended.
