	Myers Saviour of UKT UKTerrorist 14:10 3/2/2004	(This was an automated post) UniCon LAN Centre has just announced that they will be closing after their upcoming 'We got Rhythm LAN', this weekend. Vinny from UniCon has released the following statement: I am very very sorry to say that UniCon Gaming will be shutting down as of 8^th February. For various reasons including the fact that I have accepted a job in London as well as the daily struggles with LAN Centres, means that the Unicon staff have decided to call it a day. "We Got Rhythm LAN" will, therefore, be our farewell to the eSports community. All the staff at UniCon would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for the great times we've had over the past year (yes it's been that long!) especially Richard Loxam who, although is a bit lame and crap at CS, has been a great asset to us as a customer/CL and staff member. It was a great project and I hope we've established a good name for ourselves and I, personally, have gained a tremendous deal of contacts but most importantly with you the gamers. I had actually thought about changing my flat into a CS museum (and this is the shower Mangiacapra used... and this is the porn video Harriman and Wright watched...) It was a GG. So GL HF. N1. NetportCafe (St Helens) has just had a pc overhaul if i remember rightly they now running: xp2600+ 512 DDR gefroce fx5200 good enuff for most cs handling :P not really a great place to be travelling hundreds of miles to as its pretty small 12 pc's or something, but if its for a laff with friends on lan, or a small bootcamp to work on tactics :) also theres one in wigan which im not to uptodate on www.wiganlans.co.uk i think is the link its called Lan-World xx [ Comment: Report \| IP: Logged ]

CGZ best LAN center i've been too, plenty PC's all well up to spec, room for spectators, 2 minutes from station. Not sure if they want to host it but it can't harm to ask.
