UKT LAN Finals - Map Rotation + Schedule

With just over a week to go before the UKT LAN finals commence we can announce both the map rotation for the competition and the schedule.

The map rotation for the Saturday is as follows:

  • 1st group stage game - de_train
  • 2nd group stage game - de_dust2
  • 3rd group stage - de_nuke
  • 1st game, 2nd group stage - de_train
  • 2nd game, 2nd group stage - de_inferno
  • 3rd game, 2nd group stage- de_cbble
  • Final & 3rd/4th playoff - de_dust2 & de_nuke

For the Sunday finals, the tournament will be two-map double elimination. Each team may choose from one map for each game, from dust2, cbble, nuke, train, inferno, however they may only choose each map once. If in the final the two teams have met before, they will play two of the three maps they neglected to play the first time. The lower bracket team will play their map first.

The schedule for the competition is also now available and can be found here.

Finally we are seeking one team to replace Choke who, unfortunately, are unable to attend. First team to contact me will receive this spot.

20:49 6/8/2004		 If the schedhuled finish is due to finish that late I dread to think what time it will actually finish...Although saying that, as long as there aren't too many major problems it could run to schedhule, seeing as each game has been given an hour to be finished and they only take about 30 minutes... The top 2 teams from each of the 4 groups will advance to a 2nd group stage, at which the top team of each group will compete in the final for 1st/2nd whilst the two second place teams will compete in a 3rd/4th place playoff. All 4 teams will advance into the next day's event.
