The Oracle has posted the first in a new series of articles here at UKT, looking at a day in the life of fictional 42-year old Counter-Strike player Herman Chambers. The first piece tells how Herman struggles to juggle CS with work, the kids and "marital issues". Here's a snippet:During the moments when I'm in Free Look Mode, I contemplate my existence and my family. My two kids barely ever see me. I come home from work and run for the computer. My kids are having crackers and apple juice while they watch cartoons as I come through the door. I don't think they've ever seen anything move so fast, just the black blur of a business suit that heads for the bedroom. It bothers me that when little Angela, who is 7 years old, is asked at school what her father does for a living, she replies, "he plays on the computer".Definitely worth a read.
