The Worlds leading CS Sportscast network, TsN, have today announced two deals which will see them expand into Europe in a big way.
Up until now, the UK CS community has seen very little professional event coverage from people at the venue. When it comes to interviews and shoutcasts, the UK have definitely fallen behind their American counter-parts.
TsN is looking to change all that and below is an extract from today's press release to explain what exactly they do:
The Team Sportscast Network is quite simply an online broadcast and media organization. Since its
inception in 1999, The Team Sportscast Network has chosen to focus on very specific methods to deliver
it’s content and a very specific market to target. The delivery methods consist of audio, video, and live
coverage of the online culture of competitive multiplayer gaming.
Also announced in the release are two deals which should bring UK CS to our screens more than ever before.
UK Terrorist LAN has given TsN the exclusive coverage rights to broadcast the upcoming LAN remotely to
audiences around the world. The LAN coverage, featuring some of the top Counter-Strike teams in the UK
and the rest of Europe, takes place May 1st to May 3rd. TsN will air the top match-ups, conduct interviews
and essentially bring the event home to those who cannot attend in the professional fashion listeners have
come to expect. The Counter-Strike Gaming Network (CSGN) is the UK’s premier Counterstrike League and today announced its partnership with TsN regarding coverage.
The full press release can be found here. We hope this announcement has settled any doubts that may have surrounded UKT6 coverage, and we look forward to working with Team Sportscast Network at other future UKT events.

I can see the coverage of the ukt lan being decent enough, but csgn coverage is really pushing it.I cant see it being as successful as that of cal-i shoutcasts since there is a lack of enough teams competeing at the highest level of cs in the league.Hopefully it will be a success and helps to build such teams [ Comment: Report | IP: Logged ]
