Sheffield VGA Centre Finally Opens

After quite some time Sheffield finally has its own VGA LAN centre. The Frag Cafe opened to the general public on Saturday and their aim is to provide a comfortable environment for gamers.

I caught up with Ken from TFC and he had this to say:

" The Frag Café is a dual educational/recreational facility dedicated to making gaming fun for all. Whether you are an unassuming Noob or hardcore L33T, we hope you will find a place to compete with friends and meet/challenge new ones at TFC.
During the day we operate as a training centre that works in close partnership with Sheffield LEA to provide games centred I.T. training to excluded and disaffected young people. "

They are also looking to setup a VGA team and run events such as all-nighters. If you are interested more information can be found in #thefragcafe or here.
