	cobbeh fluid element 00:46 27/1/2004	(This was an automated post) Over the weekend the GameOn LAN take place with some familiar faces in attendance like Choke, BLACKLiGHT and favourites Team AMD Gamer we were sure to see plenty of good matches along the way. The LAN was played in a league style with everyone would be playing each other atleast once. The final saw TAG take on current GameOn LAN champions Choke in a 2 mapper final played on de_dust2 and de_train. TAG had already played Choke in this event on de_prodigy which saw them win 15-9 so the guys had alot of confidence of going all the way to victory. Here are the scores for both maps: Map: de_dust2 TAG CT (9) - Choke T (3) TAG T (8) - Choke CT (4) Map: de_train TAG CT (6) - Choke T (6) TAG T (2) - Choke CT (0) Final Score: 25-13 It sounded like a very well run and decent event and let's hope that more and more familar faces turn up to the next GameOn LAN. 	Samje 13:55 27/1/2004	Yes there are various circumstances that change the outcome, But that doesnt change the fact that clans around europe are able to play on LAN much more, and get higher LAN competetion locally. Which means that its even harder for TAG to get anywhere near the standard they are at. And since CS is dieing anyway, chances of making any worthwhile mark on CS is unlikly. 	Black Cat^ 16:55 27/1/2004	It was a very good tournement, we eventually came joint 3rd with void because urp decided to drop out of the top 4 play off bracket (or something) and we didnt end up playing void due time restrictions i beleive. We played badely vs Blacklight and got raped lol, us winning the knife round on inf decided to start as T, which was our weaker side ... we were unorganised and blacklight took full advantage. On the other hand we played void on nuke, a map we were better prepared for ... that was a very close game with us beating them by only 4 rounds. We then played urp (mix of soda and coX) on nuke, and even though them and void are similar skillwise, they were far too quick for us and we were caught by suprise. In reality, none of them have top level experience outside the UK, except for ShaQ's brief spell in 4k. All games / events are different, and more often than not its what happens on the day that counts. Which means that its even harder for TAG to get anywhere near the standard they are at. And since CS is dieing anyway, chances of making any worthwhile mark on CS is unlikly. 	Black Cat^ 16:55 27/1/2004	It was a very good tournement, we eventually came joint 3rd with void because urp decided to drop out of the top 4 play off bracket (or something) and we didnt end up playing void due time restrictions i beleive. We played badely vs Blacklight and got raped lol, us winning the knife round on inf decided to start as T, which was our weaker side ... we were unorganised and blacklight took full advantage. On the other hand we played void on nuke, a map we were better prepared for ... that was a very close game with us beating them by only 4 rounds. We then played urp (mix of soda and coX) on nuke, and even though them and void are similar skillwise, they were far too quick for us and we were caught by suprise. In reality, none of them have top level experience outside the UK, except for ShaQ's brief spell in 4k. All games / events are different, and more often than not its what happens on the day that counts.
