Those crazy American teams, when they're not folding over girls, they're buying eachother's CAL-IM spots for $200 with other people's PayPal accounts. This is about as good as it's going to get today I'm afraid:
I sold my teams CAL-IM Spot for this upcoming season. In doing so; the kind dudes from #fateless bought it for $200.00 USD. The person in doing the trasfer for the account was Dumbo. But when I recieved the transaction via paypal I did a little research in to who the money was coming from... ...I decided to contact the REAL owner of the paypal account to see if It was him who bought it. Guess what? He didn't and now he has contacted the FBI/Police in both Canada and the US to take down this dumbo character. Dumbo who has commited fraud will most likely serve 14 months in Juvi and face several charges from the US, all over a CAL-IM spot.
Now excusing the obvious questions over what league actually allows teams to buy/sell divisional placings, and who would be dim enough to believe that such spots are worth $200, why would someone want to risk a criminal record over something so trivial? Check out the full story.
