The SEL finals took place today with an interesting turn of events. In the first round #3 Xp.se beat #4 Gamepoint in a very close match on de_train the final score being 16-14 ( remember SEL plays MR15 ). This meant Xp.se played Highland Online in the semi-finals, it promised to be an interesting match as HLO had beaten Xp.se earlier in the season 16-10, however it was not to be and HLO took Xp.se to the cleaners 16-5.
This meant HLO were playing the undefeated Team 9 in the finals on de_nuke. In a shock victory Highland Online defeated Team 9 16-14 to win this season and take home the prizemoney. You can, as per usual, find POV demos on the SEL Website.

SEL does indeed rock compared to anything else.
Only comparable thing is Cal-Draft but thats not got prize money, but most of the teams are playing from lan centers. [ Comment: Report | IP: Logged ]
