SK-Gaming back to basics

Last weekend at the Swedish Dreamhack Lan a team named 1911 competed in the ESWC pre-qualifiers for a place in the next days ESWC Swedish Finals. The team featured three members of the old SK-Gaming team that many said where the best team to have ever played. This sparked many rumours of the return of the SK-Gaming.Sweden team and today those rumours have been confirmed as SpawN, ahl, Fisker, vilden and sNajdan have become the SK-Gaming Swedish squad. The team features the old SK-Gaming players SpawN, Fisker and ahl and the addition of Vilden who joined up with the guys during his time in NiP and the ex-4kings player sNajdan.

Many people are already suggesting that this could be the end of the line for the Danish squad which took over the SK reins after the Swedish team left SK-Gaming over the 2004/2005 transition period, but the management have yet to release a statement regarding this.

*Update* It now states on the SK-Gaming site that this will not effect the danish team and they will continue to represent SK-Gaming.

A movie has also been released at the same time showing the old SK.Swedens performance at the Nollelva 011 LAN last year, which can be downloaded by clicking here.
