News Round-up: New CS Source vids, CS add-ons

Here are a few things we missed over the last few days:

Mango over at our evil-twin site UKCT has written an extensive UK/IE Cup LAN finals report with interviews and photos. Site registration is required to view the article.
A new CS utility called CS Connector has been released. The program is designed to help clans exchange server details easily, and it will handle passworded servers and launch anti-cheat utilities as required. More details and a download link over at the official site.
Counter Script has moved from the Gamespy network to its own domain, and they've added some guides for scripting CS: CZ.
CSBanana have added another 116 skins to their Skin Database.
A couple of new CS Source movies have surfaced, they're about 10 minutes long and show more in-game footage. Unfortunately the links we had for these are no longer valid - anyone got a mirror?
German programmers have written a beta version of a new game called, Counter-Strike 2D. It supports configs, online multiplayer (even clanmatches), original CS maps converted to 2D and more. Check out screenshots here and click here to download the game (standalone, 4.7MB).

	dL Atari.Crew 19:12 11/7/2004	the err CS:S movies make the game look pretty impressive, the bomb doesn't dissapear when you defuse it, it just gets defused!! :D one thing I did manage to notice is that the guy firing the ak quite early on doesn't have any recoil at all... is that just amazing burst control or something new in the game?
