Just a couple news scraps that you may (or may not) find interesting.

Ritualistic.com - The Official Fanstite of Ritual Entertainment For Five Consecutive Years - has posted a FAQ article about CS:CZ. Most of this you might have seen before, but it's worth a look anyway. Ooo, FAQ Goodness.
For those of you who missed it the first time, the CPL has opened summer registration for the $200,000 CS competition and the BYOC. You can find all the information about hotel reservations, transportation, air travel and tournament rules/schedule at the site. Here's a little quoted text:
The CPL Summer 2003 Event will take place at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Dallas, Texas from Wednesday, July 30, 2003 to Sunday, August 3, 2003. The main tournament game will be Half-Life Counter-Strike and the total purse will be $200,000 with a record-breaking $70,000 for the winning team. Contestants must be at least 17 years of age to participate in this tournament.
Sounds good to me. Be sure to check it out.
Lastly, it appears that the CPL has dropped CKR - Cyber Kast Radio - as the official CPL broadcaster. Here's what Frank Nuccio had to say about it all:
The CPL announced today that the broadcasting team, Cyberkast Radio, will no longer be covering CPL events. The CPL is actively in talks with a similar entity. As more news develops, updates will be announced.

They infringed copyright on numerous occasions, and stole a whole website and claimed it as their own. Myers spotted that, so thanks to him.
