Following on from the recent bunch of reviews, Ripper has taken time out to review the new SlickSteel Pro pad. With the previous Destrukt Mat and Alienware fUnc Mat reviews , this review now gives you 3 pads to compare and contrast based on our reviews. Below is the obligatory snippet.

I personally didn’t have any problems with the size. As you can see from the photos, my desk is a pull out draw, meaning I have limited space for a keyboard and mouse pad to sit side by side, so the smaller size actually suited me. I never once found my mouse drifting off the side

	Carb theb0g 16:15 8/4/2004	How well would this work with optical mice though? I would have thought the reflective surface of the steel would make it pretty useless but obviously that's not the case.
