UniCon as a company rely on customers to keep the centre running, so the success as a CS Side isnt that important... what UniCon want is publicity, as long as the new cs side keep playing games... the unicon name gets used... however obviously it looks better if the names doing well than bad. As a multigaming team, we expect them to improve on there current performances at lan with the extra backing provided for bootcamps etc before events... but as long as they keep a reputable name, and people keep talking its all good :) when kensai became unicon there was loads of flame and s*** about it... but at end of the day... unicon name got thrown around so much it was great publicity... the entire ukt readers section insantly became aware of the lan centre. UniCon as a company rely on customers to keep the centre running, so the success as a CS Side isnt that important... what UniCon want is publicity, as long as the new cs side keep playing games... the unicon name gets used... however obviously it looks better if the names doing well than bad. As a multigaming team, we expect them to improve on there current performances at lan with the extra backing provided for bootcamps etc before events... but as long as they keep a reputable name, and people keep talking its all good :) when kensai became unicon there was loads of flame and s*** about it... but at end of the day... unicon name got thrown around so much it was great publicity... the entire ukt readers section insantly became aware of the lan centre. If we had been fully active throught out these 12 months wid someone supporting like UniCon, we probably would have been challanging the likes of the big 5 imo ... hopefully we can do that now that we have UniCon supporting us & keeping us motivated (one of the reason of the random inactivities). who should have they gone for?? They wont bootcamp much more than they do now and it really wouldn't make that much difference. reSonance have been around for a very long time with an unchanged team as of late, they've played together loads.
