News Round-Up

A few items of news that may be of interest to some of you.

GameOn are holding a 150 person LAN party in the Midlands UK. MidLAN #30 will commence on Friday 18th April 11am, and finish on Sunday 20th April 4pm. It will cost £35 for the weekend. More information can be found on their website.
Kensai and GLtC are bootcamping at Virtual Realm in Bath on Saturday 15th March 10am - Sunday 16th March Midday. Any clans that may wish to pop in for a game would be advised to phone VR before hand, to check there will be room. You can find more information on VR here.
A short 3D movie has been released called Anticheat Project. I'm afraid I don't have much information on it, so those of you who want to check it out, click here.
Just an update on i15 for those of you of may not have checked the site recently. The accommodation has been sorted out, and looks like this.
We've now finalised the sleeping arrangements with the Racecourse for i15. There will be two separate buildings as designated sleeping areas: the customary pavillions, and also the tote building directly opposite the Grandstand entrance. We had hoped to have the entire Hampshire Stand avaiable for sleeping, but unfortunately the council turned down our plans.
Over 900 places have been sold for i15, and they are hoping to break the 1000 mark by March 10th, so those of you who still haven't booked and want to go, do so now.
Plans for future i-events are underway, so here are the relevant links for each future event: i16. i17. i18.

Why is every team suddenly practicing at VR in bath...slough or northampton are by far the best places as they have a decent net connection, although Bath have a nice setup of PC's. But i think i'd go for 2 days free slush with clan ONE and graham and tom fighting over who gets to put green slush down whose pants over a 10 chomp outta the fridge from Bath :) Northampton owns too. Sorry mate. Connection speed may mean everything in your little world but in VR gaming is about much much more than that...anyone who comes here regularly will tell you that, in future i would suggest you think before you post.
