First up is another excellent gotFrag article. This one details the recent iFate vs ForsakeN grudge match which took place at CXG. The history of the two teams, or rather one member of iFate, is well documented and the game produced a rather surprising result. You can read the full article here. From the ashes of the ruined CXG, comes some nice video footage. The first of which comes courtesty of Pinnacle Cyber Lounge who have released this video. The video contains some in-game footage and interviews with players such as mouz\|Johnny R, Rivals\|Jaden and ElemenT of SK. The second video is a short trailer for the CXG which is of excellent quality, the production is outstanding. You can obtain this video here Recent closures of various leagues have left the UK with fewer top quality leagues than ever. Despite the negatives, a few new leagues are springing up; the most notable of which is the UKCSL. Scheduled for an early February start the league looks in good shape for some exciting games. Unicon gaming centre sends word of a new LAN event being organised at the moment. The event is scheduled for 7^th February at the Unicon e-sports centre in Manchester, running with 8 teams in a double elimination structure. So far, several clans have applied for the competition, with teams such as MonkeyMagic, G2XS, UniCon, Xtra, Blacklight and 2s2p likely to figure. For more information contact the Unicon centre through #unicon on quakenet or via 0161 2379416. I'm told the event has the tentative, and somewhat worrying, title of "We Got Rhythm LAN". Giggles galore today, after the recent debacle surrounding dreaM! it appears their sponsor has pulled the plug. The UKCSA news room, responsible for supporting the clan, heartily state I would like to note to all viewers, that this decision has not been influenced by recent 'cheating allocations' made against the clan.
