New Steam Update

Finally, some well sought after updates have been released. Steam's been updated yet again and this time added some much needed updates, such as crosshair options and improved hitboxes. Here's the full changelog:

COUNTER-STRIKE: CONDITION ZERO:

  • Added updated player models under CS

COUNTER-STRIKE:

  • Added crosshair customization (color, size, opacity)
  • Corpses fade out with cl_corpse_stay
  • Improved player turning right hitbox behavior
  • Improved brass ejection behavior
  • hud_draw 0 doesn't remove blackout
  • Scope blackout drawn in software mode
  • Flashlight sound no longer masks weapon firing sounds
  • Improved text behavior in top-right corner of observer mode
  • Round timer doesn't re-appear until the round restarts when the bomb is defused or explodes
  • Improved hitbox behavior

Just restart Steam and let it update.

Guaranteed there'll be some new bug that gets on everyone's tits now this has finally come out.

Im not sure if this is the same problem but when most of us in ImG updated using the unofficial file the round time would randomly dissapear. So we never knew how long was left in a round to retrieve the bomb if it was dropped etc. Was very fustrating. [ Comment: Report | IP: Logged ]

I guess VALVe's impression of fixing the hitboxes was by removing them completely? Cause that's what the reg is like. s***.

the way theyv given us a console command rather than forcing a crosshair on us is good. maybe more to come

i tried the hitboxes vs bots n the reg was v gd.. online i thought it was much better than before as well :S

delete clientregistry.blob file, log out of steam, reboot machine, log back in and try again

The text colour changes are s***. The hitboxes seem no different, the new crosshair options were already there just using adjust_crosshair 5 etc? [ Comment: Report | IP: Logged ]
