Mapscores: de_inferno de_train MonkeyMagic 25 - 23 disturbed (Demos) Match report Disturbed started the match as they had to, namely by taking a 9-3 lead on their map choice, de_inferno. MonkeyMagic managed to come up with fine damage limitation, however, winning the second half, 8-4. MonkeyMagic had a hard time breaking through disturbed's defenses in the first half on train, especially after losing the pistol round, but they managed to grab three crucial rounds. This meant that they now needed 11 rounds for a direct win, whilst their opponent only needed three (overall score was 22-14 to disturbed at that point). MonkeyMagic then showed why they chose de_train as their map and started work on what would eventually become a fine come back, quickly taking a 6-0 lead (22-20). Disturbed won another round and, for a moment, it seemed disturbed was going to take control again. MonkeyMagic, however, refused to give disturbed the round they needed to secure overtime, held their positions, and took three more rounds to square the tie (23-23). With two rounds to go, and the score tied, both teams knew they had to win this round. Duck killed toomy, then in a matter of seconds Messiah fragged Rhyzz, Headshot Man, and WaZ, after which he got taken down by vip. Duck took down Smiffeh and Vertakill, making it 2 vs. 1 and it seemed disturbed was going to win this round. "Over my dead body", SiN^ yelled, going on to kill vip and duck, before defusing the bomb to win the round. The last round; MonkeyMagic's round for the Cup, disturbed's round to stay in the game...what was it gonna be? Vertakill drew first blood killing vip, but got killed by Rhyzz. Toomy then took down WaZ and duck, before being killed by Rhyzz. Headshot Man eliminated SiN^, leaving a 2 vs 2 to decide. Smiffeh then killed both Headshot Man and Rhyzz, securing the round, the match, and the title for MonkeyMagic. Prizes/Final Ranking Now that the final's over, the cup rankings are as follows: MonkeyMagic win first prize (6 months worth): a 4K-gaming server, bnc's, a TS2/Ventrilo server, and a domain name+hosting, all sponsored by 4K-gaming. Disturbed, who played their last match together, go into the history books with pride, and get the same prize as MonkeyMagic (3 months). Choke get a £50 4K-gaming voucher. Furthermore, as soon as the Clanbase webmaster processes it, all three get these lovely medals behind their clanname on Clanbase. End of the Cup Season As supervisor of this UK/IE Cup, I would like to thank everyone who made this into a success:

End of the Cup Season
As supervisor of this UK/IE Cup, I would like to thank everyone who made this into a success:
- The teams, even dreaM!, who apart from two small hickups and a few droppings were very decent and cooperative.
- My fellow supervisor JamSam, and the whole admin team, I couldnt have done without them.
- The Cup's main sponsor, 4K-gaming, who provided us a server box and a HLTV proxies box during the whole Cup, making the matches a lot easier to plan, and coverage for the topmatches guaranteed. And for providing the prizes for the top three, which is certainly appreciated.
- The spectators and news sites for their interest and support, and their endurance with my crappy use of English grammar.
