Japlan #3 rolls round

Those busy lads over at Kensai, in association with Unicon Gaming, have put pen to paper to confirm the 3rd in their very succesful 2v2 tournaments hosted at the Unicon Centre in Manchester. Here's the lowdown from loxam.

The competition follows the same format as the previous JapLAN events, with teams competing in a Dual Elimination Bracket System to determine the overall winner of the event. All games will be broadcast on HLTV, available to people within the centre and also for Internet broadcast thanks to 37-Hosting. Signups go live tommorrow. The price to compete will be £20, this guarantees a PC from 9:30 am to 11:30 pm regardless of if you are eliminated.We want the gamers to enjoy the whole day. The scheduled date for the tournament is the 26th July.

As I understand it, prizes are yet to be finalised but with the previous 2 events sporting Geforce FX cards and a couple of keyrings....sorry Athlon XP processors I can't imagine them being too far away from that sort of value.
