IsKall, a stand-in for EYEBallers at the CPL Summer 04 World Championships, has officially joined the team has the 5th player. In an interview with fragbite IsKall is careful to state that this is not the result of Hyper leaving and he would have joined the lineup permanently anyway.
So you would have joined the team even if Hyper hadn't left for SK? Will you play with the five players you've got now or do you want to have six players?Yes as I said it's practically been decided since CPL. The fact that Hyper left, though, wasn't clear until yesterday and it has been a tough 24 hours with a lot of thinking. What we will do now isn't 100% decided, other than we will be back! And you can guess what we'd like to do like CPL Summer at 011!? ;)
Is there a chance that we might see even more changes to the lineup?
Crw has had quite big personal problems and hasn't been online for quite a while. So of course it's not an impossibility!
How's the spirit in EYE now? Has Hyper's change of teams affected the team's motivation in a positive or negative way?
Everyone in EYE has had a rough period now, most of all vilden who seemed real "tight" with Hyper. But you can't just lie down and die without a fight and one player doesn't make an entire team. We have still got 4 world champions in computer gaming in our team and you should get far on that! ;) You have to try and make this into something positive even if it may seem hard to do at the moment. But we won't let SK take the number 1 spot back without a real fight!
Whilst many are instantly writing EYEBallers future prospects off, it is important to take note of what IsKall said, there are still 4 World Champions in EYEBallers, and they will most certainly be a major force in gaming for the forseeable future. Unfortunately for them they will need a sponsor coming on board, if they wish to pursue their talent at other events worldwide.
