Hyper on Contract, Ice Hockey Agent Helms New NiP

SK-Gaming ended their defeaning silence yesterday by releasing a statement regarding the situation of their Swedish CS team. It will most likely be seen as a poor move on SK-Gaming's part to allow the players to announce their departure from the organisation, rather than the organisation announcing the players' departure, but better late than never.

First we should make it official.
At 31st December, contracts with the players Wizard, Spawn, Heaton, Ahl, Fisker and Potti ran out. Hyper still is under contract within SK-Gaming, so the statement from Heaton is partly true. Right now we are talking to Hyper as he mentioned his wish to get out of the contract before it runs out, just as Element did in 2004.

This raises the possibility of NiP being forced to buy Hyper out of his contract, much like NoA did with Element in 2004. SK-Gaming are presently looking for a new CS.swe team to compete at the highest level of gaming competitions worldwide. This will no doubt set the scene for a mouth watering NiP -vs- SK-Gaming encounter at some point in the future.

On a subnote, UKT reader Geo dubbed a detective hat and discovered that the NiP-Gaming.com domain, the domain cited by HeatoN as the new website of the team, has been registered by a Johan Stromberg. A background check discovered that the same Mr. Stromberg is an authorised Ice-Hockey player agent.

And finally, it was only a matter of time before Gotfrag got themselves an interview with NiP-HeatoN.

For those of you that don't know Johan Strömberg, he's a former agent for swedish icehockey-player Jimmie Ölvestad and the soccer goalkeeper Rami Shaaban. He will be helping NiP break away from the SK organisation. Johan states that the team will be aiming for #1 again, and that each player is recieving salaries, like in SK.
