• JCal, over on HomeLan Fed, has posted up a preview of CS: CZ. As with all of the other first-look articles we've seen, this one doesn't do much to make me want to buy Condition Zero:

  "Graphically, Condition Zero in both the Turtle Rock and Ritual versions use the Half-Life engine as its base, which is over five years old now (and it is based on the original Quake engine). While some improvements have been made to the graphics, such as some excellent level art textures and some detailed weapon models, regular Counter-Strike players will not notice a huge change in looks from the original game."

• GotFrag caught up with bsl, leader of Norwegian/American clan, NoA, for a quick interview that focuses mainly on NoA and what their future holds. They also discuss bsl's move to Brazil last year, where he joined top Brazilian clan, MIBR, for a time.
• I'm not a fan of these 'round-ups', but it's time to throw in some quick snippets that don't warrant a news post of their own.
  • The CDG Gunshop [Skins Site] have re-launched with a spangly new site design and back-end.
  • Top US clan, Forsaken, have released their much anticipated movie, coutesy of Atticus, a well-known US movie maker. The movie's available over on CS-Flicks and is 13 minutes long.
  • Someone wrote a 'Very Basic Counter-Strike War Strategy Guide', which is, well, exactly that. Helpful hints include to kill the enemy, whilst avoiding shooting or grenading of team mates. Oh dear.

Record demos... Do this so you can share them amongst your own clan, and can see how people are good in a particular spot, aim and throw grenades, etc.
