Its been an exciting tournament with Schroet Kommando, eoLithic, and Team 9 the hot favourites to win. They didn't disappoint. SK knocked Team 9 into the losers bracket in a 16-14 game on de_train in a game that went down to the wire, in the first round of the tournament. Team 9 battled hard and reached the losers bracket final only to face and lose to SK 16-10. SK had been knocked into the losers bracket in an overtime match on de_cbble by eoLithic in a match that went into overtime, the result was 19-17.

This set the stage for the grand finals. The map: de_dust2. Unfortunately eoLithic only made 3 rounds as CT, and SK won their CT pistol and the first map was over with a somewhat shocking 16-3 scoreline. The second map ( I lie really, it was de_dust2 again ), was loaded and the finals started. This time eoLithic managed to win their pistol round and take 6 rounds as CT. eoLithic needed 10 rounds as T and made a good start winning their pistol round. They took the match to 5-0 before dropping 2 rounds, and then didn't look back taking another 5 straight. Final Score: 16-11.

The Rankings were:

• 1st eoLithic
• 2nd Schroet Kommando
• 3rd Team 9

This means we'll see eoLithic compete in the ESWC finals in France later this year.
