If like me you suffer some bouts of insommnia, and have just finished on a Jolt 24/7 Dust-only server, and find yourself trawling the web looking for something vaguely interesting, then this will probably amuse you as much as anything.
It is a first person account into the death of well-known US side, Forsaken. Indulge in a snippet:
Now, it’s Wednesday, CPL registration day. We all checked into the hotel (aZn’s suitcase exploded when he took it out of the truck, it was real funny) and got our CPL badges and proceeded to the BYOC. Forsaken did not play many practices due to the fact Funk was too busy doing "things" with other teams, and Braly was too busy in bed with Laura. At one point, it was Funk, Braly, and Laura in a bed where Laura was cuddling with Braly, not her boyfriend Funk.So it was apparent that Laura wanted Braly to play due to the fact she liked him, god knows what happened when we weren’t there with the two. So, Forsaken went on to beat x6, lose to rival whom they beat at LG, win to epolice as a bye, and then lose to 64. That night, Forsaken was ended.
Whilst it is unlikely to be reflective of the US clan scene in general, and most certainly not newsworthy, it puts the instability of UK teams in a somewhat better perspective. Read the full article. Credit to Monkh for spotting this.
