Fisker Leaves NoA, quick recruited

Obviously NiP, not only losing four of the world's greatest players, but also seeking for a further three to replace them, was going to have ripples felt across the eSports scene. In a time where the big teams have money to pick up any international talent they desire we've already seen Walle abandon mTw.ati a few days before WEG2 to join the line-up, now it appears that Fisker has done the same to NoA.

No official announcement has yet been made by Fisker (or NoA), who only originally teamed up with NoA as a replacement for elemeNt. But QPAD reports that quick, best known for helping Team9 to first place at ESWC 2003, has been recruited by NoA to replace the departed fisker. quick remained absent from the scene since his retirement in July 04. The past few months however has seen him resurface as a QPAD employee, playing 800+ games in the Q-Tour 1 v 1 series, and losing just 7.

Gotfrag? managed to squeeze some information out of Liz Matzelle, assistant manager for Team NoA.

According to Liz Matzelle, assistant manager for Team NoA, Bonett is just a quick stand in for WEG season two replacing Christer “fisker” Eriksson. Ms. Matzelle also mentioned that Eriksson will be leaving NoA, but did not disclose if NoA had a permanent replacement for Eriksson or not. This leaves NoA’s lineup at: Jorgen “Xeqtr” Johannessen, Mike “method” So, Lars “Naikon” Olaisen, and Griffin “shaGuar” Benger.

This will no doubt have a detrimental affect on Team NoA's performance at the coming World eSports Games as they look to retain their title against the likes of Four-Kings, mTw.ati, Pentagram, Begrip and Catch-Gamer.
