fRoD, one of the members of top American team united 5 has been interviewed over at esportsea. If you recall, u5 managed to defeat 3D back in the Winter CPL. The interview is a good read and gives an insight into one of the latest stars of the American CS scene.
At every CPL there are always teams who will blame maps like fire/mill/cbble/aztec for their losses. Do you think the CPL should go to a smaller map rotation, say something like dust2/train/inferno/nuke, which just rotates or do you think the current setup rewards the better teams who have practiced more and as a result should be kept in place?fRoD: I think it's not right for a team to blame loses on maps. The map rotation is posted before the tournament, so there should be no excuses for a team to not be prepared for the maps.
