	arsen Head Arse UKTerrorist 15:46 11/4/2004	(This was an automated post) We all know about Practise Clan Wars, but have we ever considered Practice Clan Cups? Well, the guys in #XtremeCup have, and now they have taken it on themselves to organise these late-night competitions. The cup has ran over the last few nights with great success and more clans are taking interest, including some higher-profile teams. Here is one of the main organisers, PrezZA to explain further: The event takes place daily and we have 2 cup competitions. We host an 8pm - 12am tournament then a 12am - 3-4am tournament. They last around 3-4 hours and the teams take it seriously and have FUN! Although there is nothing up for grabs as of yet, we hope to get sponsorship that will provide a prize. However we will have to make some sort of arrangement, like if a team wins the cup 3 times, they win a server or some sort of prize. If they win it 5, a ventrilo server + BNCS or something. Teams like Choke, c4u, disturbed have entered the tournament in the past few days and its been very enjoyable fun. Even though mix teams enter, both clans + mix teams take it seriously. But If we get enough clans wanting to enter daily, we'll have to say goodbye to the mixteams. The competition is set to take place tonight. PrezZA a while - iv never seen him act in quite such an immature manner. a smiles mix beat his 'lesbian.esports' team in the final of an early cup. for this reason he bans us from it. duck and the admins who watched our games can attone for the fact that we didnt cheat. also the demos we took (in-eyes, but hltv where possible) were all taken and if they get uploaded u can c4urself if we hack (<3 wil). as it is, the only game that turned outright nasty for us was against tR. first things first, tR didnt have their proper team (Realf1re pld and started the moaning). as it is we didnt completely dominate them, but with one notable exception (thanks JAck) they abused ingame - we kept pretty much mm2. on irc they continue to abuse and i wouldnt b surprised if prezza banned us simply to get in with the cool tR guys. basically geo wasnt that gd at all in the games we pld, and there were demos. if he was as dodgy as to deserve being banned, then the admins would have said something, or especially our favourite duck, who IS a member of a respectable team, and DOES know when people are cheating (unlike prezza who wasnt even watching our matches). Necroblob can smb, players who have pld this game for quite a long time now know when your being hacked against. yeah we were a mix realf1re and wilz00 were playing for us with me, jack and fsk. Of couse we had s*e tactics and were horribly organised but its amazing when they put in such a horrid performance in on lan and then all of a sudden Stannly turns into the UK's greatest player. Now fine if he was some1 respectable like duck then what he was doing can be put down to coincidence and just the plain nature of cs. But he isnt and from what I saw was a comically bad player at i19. Add that together and you get the fact that he's a cheating s*. As wilz00 commented he had just come back from playing amd.64 and they were nothing compared to this lad. 20+ kills with the rest of his team in the 2's and 3's just doesnt add up with him putting in the kind of lan performance he did. Also why would the admin want to get in with us? Its not like we're the kind of team that's gona attract other names to his competition and would have nothing to gain from it. And if your gonna talk about my i19 performance, i wasnt actually that bad, and moreso did anyone notice who i was playing with? Friends they are, but as a team it was diabolical. We were drunk for most of the time, and our matches were spent either shooting each other, flashing each other, or running the opposite way to what the calls suggested. I was p**ed off any annoyed at my team for most of the weekend due to the fact i couldnt rely on a single one of them backing me up. Against c4u we lost the first half (terrorist) on prodigy 7-5, quite a respectable score on this CT based map, and we probably could have taken c4u to a close game, IF we had been actually attempting to kill them. Rather than practice jumping off large objects. Im not from smiles, and was never in smiles. I have been playing since the first Beta's and yet people still seem to think i only started playing maybe a year ago. I just dislike the fact that as soon as a new player comes into the game, with some half decent skills, they are rejected and seen to be either cheating or configging (call what you may). Its the British community, most other countries are quite accepting to new and fresh talent. Im not saying im completely free from this bias, c4u*, however it needs to be changed. Its all true and at the time he was writing this im sure i was talking about the UK scene being incappable to accept any new taltent. I dont get accused that much cause probably im pants or i dont rush in like the peeps known as Stannly and geo, but the fact is even IF i do anything good its down to cheats. Ive only been playing since 1.3, geo has been playing 1.5 although i say thats bs. Foreigners e.g danash and nowegiananins seem to accept us and dont even accuse to the bloody slightest thing. Ive played four of these XtremeCups, all shambles only around 2 good mix teams in the whole bunch and of all these 2 teams i am nearly 99% certain some of them are themselves bs and deserved to be exposed. Yes u might be good on lan but explain why u cheat online? exactly. If geo was to cheat (which i think he doesnt) why would he sit around playing mixes and hoping to join a clan which he will never get because ignorant tits ruin the fun of playing this game. I havent got any offers and i know stannly hasnt because of people like u and it is annoying. Why take away from us a weekend which we have enjoyed playing in because you cant stand being beaten? PrezZA a while - iv never seen him act in quite such an immature manner. a smiles mix beat his 'lesbian.esports' team in the final of an early cup. for this reason he bans us from it. duck and the admins who watched our games can attone for the fact that we didnt cheat. also the demos we took (in-eyes, but hltv where possible) were all taken and if they get uploaded u can c4urself if we hack (<3 wil). as it is, the only game that turned outright nasty for us was against tR. first things first, tR didnt have their proper team (Realf1re pld and started the moaning). as it is we didnt completely dominate them, but with one notable exception (thanks JAck) they abused ingame - we kept pretty much mm2. on irc they continue to abuse and i wouldnt b surprised if prezza banned us simply to get in with the cool tR guys. basically geo wasnt that gd at all in the games we pld, and there were demos. if he was as dodgy as to deserve being banned, then the admins would have said something, or especially our favourite duck, who IS a member of a respectable team, and DOES know when people are cheating (unlike prezza who wasnt even watching our matches). Of couse we had s*e tactics and were horribly organised but its amazing when they put in such a horrid performance in on lan and then all of a sudden Stannly turns into the UK's greatest player. Now fine if he was some1 respectable like duck then what he was doing can be put down to coincidence and just the plain nature of cs. But he isnt and from what I saw was a comically bad player at i19. Add that together and you get the fact that he's a cheating s*. As wilz00 commented he had just come back from playing amd.64 and they were nothing compared to this lad. 20+ kills with the rest of his team in the 2's and 3's just doesnt add up with him putting in the kind of lan performance he did. Also why would the admin want to get in with us? Its not like we're the kind of team that's gona attract other names to his competition and would have nothing to gain from it. And if your gonna talk about my i19 performance, i wasnt actually that bad, and moreso did anyone notice who i was playing with? Friends they are, but as a team it was diabolical. We were drunk for most of the time, and our matches were spent either shooting each other, flashing each other, or running the opposite way to what the calls suggested. I was p**ed off any annoyed at my team for most of the weekend due to the fact i couldnt rely on a single one of them backing me up. Against c4u we lost the first half (terrorist) on prodigy 7-5, quite a respectable score on this CT based map, and we probably could have taken c4u to a close game, IF we had been actually attempting to kill them. Rather than practice jumping off large objects. Im not from smiles, and was never in smiles. I have been playing since the first Beta's and yet people still seem to think i only started playing maybe a year ago. I just dislike the fact that as soon as a new player comes into the game, with some half decent skills, they are rejected and seen to be either cheating or configging (call what you may). Its the British community, most other countries are quite accepting to new and fresh talent. Im not saying im completely free from this bias, c4u*, however it needs to be changed. Ive only been playing since 1.3, geo has been playing 1.5 although i say thats bs. Foreigners e.g danash and nowegiananins seem to accept us and dont even accuse to the bloody slightest thing. Ive played four of these XtremeCups, all shambles only around 2 good mix teams in the whole bunch and of all these 2 teams i am nearly 99% certain some of them are themselves bs and deserved to be exposed. Yes u might be good on lan but explain why u cheat online? exactly. If geo was to cheat (which i think he doesnt) why would he sit around playing mixes and hoping to join a clan which he will never get because ignorant tits ruin the fun of playing this game. I havent got any offers and i know stannly hasnt because of people like u and it is annoying. Why take away from us a weekend which we have enjoyed playing in because you cant stand being beaten?
