As many of you may have noticed, the website formerly known as "UKCSA" has been down for some time now. This is due to a massive change in their organisation. UKCSA, sponsored by Burstfire and Sennheiser, has decided to rename to EVD and become an international coverage site rather than focusing on the UK. As well as this, they will be supporting several counter-strike teams from around the world.

Project Justification
Throughout the past few months, members from several different organisations have merged together to fixate & create a new gaming project. The project has been entitled ‘Gamers Evolved’, or EVD for short. This project has been established to form a gaming body that will harbour several gaming teams as well as providing a news resource to a large gaming audience. With the aid of sponsors & the resources of the site, we will be supporting the teams under the new EVD name. In order to allow teams to get the maximum support, we will not only be supplying them our resources, but sharing the resources of any gained sponsors. Our teams division will be operating in two main platforms. The first will be to raise general support for teams, such as small products that all of our teams can use. The second, to gain large individual sponsorship. This type of support is aimed at solo corporate companies that can provide an individual team with a higher backing E.g.: financial support. All types of support & sponsorship will be channelled through EVD directly. EVD will be trading under the name of Bluebox Media Services Ltd, which is soon to change name to Gamers Evolved Ltd. As well as harbouring gaming teams, we will also be hosting a service as a coverage site, to gain additional interest to our site & teams.

The teams they have chosen to support are Team DarkSide (Spain), Team Drake (Iceland) and our very own MonkeyMagic (UK). All three teams will be included for the sponsorship from Sennheiser and Burstfire.
