ESWC UK Finals Teams List

A few days back a preliminary list of teams was announced for the ESWC UK LAN Finals, we held off on the post until that list was confirmed or updated and it seems as if we now have a final list of teams set to turn up to the Magna Science Centre in Sheffield this weekend.

The Counter-Strike section of the qualifiers looks set to run over 2 days, with 14 teams scheduled to play in the event. There may be further amendments allowing 3rd placed teams to compete, but at this time no further word has been forthcoming from the organisers. So far the list of teams stands as

As well as plenty of on site amenities, those of you left at home wont be stuck without a lifeline to retrieve all the latest information and goings on at ESWC. The team over at TsN are going to be broadcasting live from the event, bringing all the best action, news and interviews as it happens direct from the gaming arena. So tune in to listen to myself and Hooman along with Caemdare and Thunder as we bring you all the action live.

Why did omg! not recruit players from overseas like other UK gaming teams?
Teppum - We've never really seen the need to recruit anyone from abroad, as we have always favoured having players that live nearby each other. There is neither any real need to go abroad as there are many talented players in the UK who are yet to be given a chance.
