	JinKster 11:22 26/5/2005	you cant really expect much from the old gamefrontier team. these guys are the people who did seeding for last years cpl/eswc uk quals, and managed to somehow place c4u and lastchance near the bottom, while somehow the former, older version of landed that was never anything special 3rd i think... Venom, its not a matter of doubt. It is ridiculous that any member of the board that chooses these teams has any connection to the teams. Why doesn't say, Myers and Sujoy from iguk select it, or perhaps some more well known organisers from the uk-scene, rather than the key-manager of landed, who know are without a doubt participating in a competition with bogus groups. Most people in the cs community can probably come, just glance at the groups, and be pretty damn close to know who are the winners to the groups...i mean really, waths the goddamn point if its so very well stacked [ Comment: Report \| IP: Logged ]

	Coopsy Landed 11:27 26/5/2005	In the same we we've done all of our groups (and will continue to do so), we looked at the results from the prequals and the wider picture. Many of the teams have changed their lineups with either 1 or 2 new players and therefore the prequalifier results have to be looked at, but taken with a pinch of salt. There is, never has been and never will be a bias towards any team I like/know or am involved in. I am passionate about my cs team but equally passionate about my role as tournament manager for CPL and ESWC events in the UK. [ Comment: Report \| IP: Logged ]

To answer your question AirhorN - although Choke wasn't even supposed to be in the tournament (and therefore granting a lower seed), their past experience and performances meant they were shifted up a place or two. 	b0sH twisted Reality 11:51 26/5/2005	lol Jinkster ur talking s***, we were never seeded 3rd. We were seeded below LastChance and above c4u at 10th I think for the CPL quals, only reason we were seeded above c4u was because they were gona have to attend with a mix team because they had underage players in eLm and wilz00. As for the groups, if we'd been put in the group without 4K then people would have said we'd fixed it to not play them. Myers quite happily ran the UKT events when he still had attachments to 4K/TAG and Ripper seeded teams for UKT including ForsakeN who he was playing for at the time. Kirdi has far less involvement with us then either of these 2 did with their respective teams. As for Krit and 4K causing problems, 4K aren't known for smashing keyboards, breaking tents and getting into fist fights are they? With him having no "real" attachement to any of the teams attending, there's no incentive for him not to act like an ass and therefore the organisers would rather not deal with him. Venom, its not a matter of doubt. It is ridiculous that any member of the board that chooses these teams has any connection to the teams. Why doesn't say, Myers and Sujoy from iguk select it, or perhaps some more well known organisers from the uk-scene, rather than the key-manager of landed, who know are without a doubt participating in a competition with bogus groups. Many of the teams have changed their lineups with either 1 or 2 new players and therefore the prequalifier results have to be looked at, but taken with a pinch of salt. There is, never has been and never will be a bias towards any team I like/know or am involved in. We were seeded below LastChance and above c4u at 10th I think for the CPL quals, only reason we were seeded above c4u was because they were gona have to attend with a mix team because they had underage players in eLm and wilz00. As for the groups, if we'd been put in the group without 4K then people would have said we'd fixed it to not play them. Myers quite happily ran the UKT events when he still had attachments to 4K/TAG and Ripper seeded teams for UKT including ForsakeN who he was playing for at the time. Kirdi has far less involvement with us then either of these 2 did with their respective teams. As for Krit and 4K causing problems, 4K aren't known for smashing keyboards, breaking tents and getting into fist fights are they? With him having no "real" attachement to any of the teams attending, there's no incentive for him not to act like an ass and therefore the organisers would rather not deal with him.
