ESL: Back In The Game

ESL Europe are pleased to announce that they have resumed normal ladder status following progress made by the Cheating Death team.

As some of you may recall the ESL-Ladders were put on hold at the end of December following a bug which prevented CD protection/recognition of cheats. Since then the latest 4.27.2 version of CD has countered such issues.

One week ago we had to close all CS Ladders due to a CD Hack temporarly (news). Following on from today's Cheating Death update (ver. 4.27.2) we are now able to re-open the Counter-Strike leagues again for matches.
The current Anti-Cheat recommendation for matches is therefore naturally Cheating Death. In order to be sure that your Gameserver also has the most current Cheating Death, the following command of "cdrequiredversion = auto" must be in the Server config. This can be examined from outside of the server by HLSW before a match.

May the ESL-Europe CS community have many happy days of fast, fun frolickingly good fraggin' to look forward to.
