	Marc 23:37 21/5/2005	It is exactly the same situation as last year, We contacted ESWC (not gamefrontier) first and asked them if it was ok to use 2-2-1. The ESWC commity actually permitted this on the basis as 4K are recognised as a UK team. Also in the rules states the ESWC commity can change/overide the rules at any time. I'm not 100% sure but last I heard the 4K cs contracts had not yet been renewed? So what documentation is used to validate ownership? What's to stop anyone in the UK from saying "I own this organisation" bringing in 5 swedes and winning the event? Ie does the team need 2players+ & be of the origin of the country? OR does the team EITHER need 2players+ OR be in the UK with 5 swedes?! Seems a bit wierd if 4k were allowed to go on the grounding that they are based in this country, even if it does align with modern sports such as football. By the way for all the people that are directly comparing footie with cs.... footie is changing v soon to employ a grass roots rule, this will involve teams NEEDING to field players of the based country, so player nationality IS an issue. If football has been running this long and they establish this is an issue surely the rule of which country a team is based in should be scrubbed in the long term and players of countries origin be made more important... im going to press add comment now as i feel im wasting my time in a point that cant really be proved right or wrong and could go very deep [ Comment: Report \| IP: Logged ]
