Danish team9 Fold

News over at Schroet.com has made it apparent that the current Counter-Strike team sponsored by the team9 internet cafe in Stockholm have decided to part ways. Reasons for this have been made clear with a press release from team9|amadeus:

The time has come for me to write this statement about the departure of jerry, spx, NituZ, B|tch, nzaihn and Afflictor. We all felt that it was time to end the co-operation and that we have different plans for the future.
The core reason for this happening is because we have different goals in the future, and different point of views on what should be given priority to and what’s not.
This has nothing to do at all with the team’s latest results. It’s just a matter about goals and priority’s.
Other members is also leaving the team are VicoN (inactive player) and cyberzero (manager). Interviews will be given by amadeus, located in #team9 on IRC.

He also made a small statement about what has happened and what is next for the team9 franchise:

I cant speak about another squad in Team9 yet. We didnt kick them and they didnt leave, this is a decision we took together. I would like to thank jerrys dad for everything, and Steelpad for the financiall help before CXG.
