Cliffe has updated the official Counter-Strike news with some snippets of information regarding changes they're planning to implement in the near future. Here's the snippet:
"Just wanted to keep everyone updated on a couple small Counter-Strike changes we're making. The zoomed Bullpup and Krieg 552 zoomed in crosshairs will now use the expanding green crosshair rather than the legacy HL sprites. The radar will have some opacity options for those brighter maps. In addition, we're experimenting with improving the Dual Elites and M249 -- which will fill the suppressive fire niche. We plan on rolling out these changes in the near future."
Dual elites and suppressive fire...not two terms I'd normally use in the one sentence. He also noted that any feedback is welcome; full contact info is available over there.

auto snipers r now sweet (which i think is fair as they cost a fortune) and brining in more guns will bring more variation
then again they may just die out like the famas and galil have a bit after their initial excessive use [ Comment: Report | IP: Logged ]

Another example of how VALVe and Cliffe are not fussed about the REAL problems CS has (netcode, hitboxes, etc, etc, etc) and are more concerned with making stupid minor alterations to weapons that are pretty much never used in clan games and have almost the same usage on public servers. It just begs the question, why? [ Comment: Report | IP: Logged ]
