Sunday saw the first event of many at the HarrowArena LAN centre in London. Teams such as c4u, CSGN and DnS travelled to compete for a £600 prize fund. The eight teams in attendance were split into two groups of four to battle it out to go thought to the second stage where two teams from each group progressed. The four teams that progressed from the group stages were, Team-CSGN, c4u, firesomething and DnS.
Due to Team-CSGN early loss against DnS in the group stages they played c4u in the first semi-final on de_train, where c4u came out on top 16-07. In the other semi-final firesomething where able to beat DnS 16-12 to claim there place in the upperbracket final.
Team-CSGN faced up with DnS in the lowerbracket final to get another shot at c4u who beat firesomething to give them there place in the grand final. Team-CSGN came out on top to set up the final that everyone wanted, Team-CSGN vs c4u.
The final was set to be a two map final, de_inferno being played twice. Team-CSGN took the first map 16-13 after being down 05-12 at one point, then took the second map more comfortably 16-07 to give them the title!
Congratulations to madSpunK, AdY, Kardy, LozZa and hih1, the first HarrowArena Lan Champions!
