News is piling up so fast this weekend you need wings to stay above it. Or a witty, hard working, uni-bound newsie to post as much as he can before departing for the murky waters of Cheltenham. It was tempting not to give this a mention, as CSGN put it, we "do have America now after all".
Today's a mixed day, a day which sees the departures of Obsidian and Stono as the head admins of CSGN due to educational commitments, and a day which also sees the signups for CSGN Season 5 go live.
I have enjoyed CSGN, and genuinely feel we have helped maintain a standard BWCSL left behind (we were running parallel to them and for free at one point). I have no idea when I will return, or indeed if I ever will (at least in the form I’ve become known for at CSGN). But I hope to attend the next CSGN LAN. It is therefore with pleasure that I open signups to Season 5 of CSGN today. The usual rules and terms apply – fill out the form truthfully and to the best of your ability. You need 5 registered players to your clan and some other criteria - basically the usual (Only the clan leader can apply). It is worth noting all teams - even if you were in CSGN last season need to sign up again - although those from last season can pretty much be guarunteed entry automatically providing you didn't do anything naughty!
So a big adios to the Obsidian, Stono team, who between them successfully turned CSGN into the UK's finest gaming league, lets hope whoever takes over can manage the league just as well. You can signup for season 5 here.

Without UKT coverage CSGN wouldn't have been so successful - so why would we want to do anything nasty to them. It was just funny that it took 4 days to post on the most well known UK league opening signups when we were hearing up to the minute new flashes on foreign things happening over at the CPL staff roster!
