	St3al7h Collective 01:37 23/1/2005	screen shots without user input is the best way to catch and prevent cheats, the old punkbuster screener we caught loads of people! cfg upload is cool as long its made clear what is and isnt allowed, i can see the scanning for cheats having problems, if this happens in game will it not f*** up your pc and make it run poo? and if it happens at any other time then what’s the point? as they can just delete n reinstall... i like the idea of no wild cards, or though id like to know how they will implement it, because if a team really cant field a team does this mean they are simply fvcked and get a default loss? 	St3al7h Collective 02:22 23/1/2005	yeah tazzle cus when your pc breaks minutes before the game knowing the game was on 2 days before really helps, i mean its not like pc's or internet connections are the most stable things on the planet and having a zero tolerance policy as annoying as the wildcards were last season i dont think is the way to go it in no way reflects the skills of the clans taking part and isn’t that the point of having a league? and its not like 1 game don’t make a difference when of the positions go down to the wire so it will be s*** if whose goes to the lan finals is decided on defaults because clans have genuine problems, if you say scanning it will work fine then fair enough I know little about how it will work i just have horrible visions of my pc freezing n dying, anything that’s stops the hacks is teh win [ Comment: Report \| IP: Logged ]

I'm sure that on one occasion if there were genuiine problems a postponment would be allowed. For us last season in division 4 it was hard to play all games as we had to play on Sundays and were sometimes at lans (playing very badly of course! :D) New anti cheat sounds like it is going to be goodd. As Pimpboy said, (I am assuming it runs in a similar way to CSAC) you relly don't notice any system lag as it runs it's checks. I would get stono to explain to you the basic concept of this type of scan, which would explain to you why this is the case... but you'd probably still hold the same view so its likely it would be a waste of time. In regards to 0 wildcards. All CSGN divisional games are on the same day, and the times, server, admin, etc. for your game are released right at the very start of each season. I was sat there thinking, why do clans need to be able ot rearrnage games when they have litterally MONTHS to organise thier every so hectik (im sure) social lives around this game. If you could distinguish between a genuine reason for missing a game and a clan that p*ed off down the pub cus they didn’t feel like playing this week then clearly that would be the ideal situation but having 0 wildcards just seems harsh, but maybe u just like to make us suffer :D either way csgn will still be the best league around and the only one worth playing in [ Comment: Report \| IP: Logged ]

	Tazzle 16:53 23/1/2005	Here's a loophole that could be used as a wildcard. From the rules: "If a player drops due perminently from the server before the first three rounds are complete, the game must be reschedulled. The player must time out fom the server or similar." So if you want to wildcard, join, play a round, one player pulls out his network cable and f***s off out for the night. Albeit it does require 5 people to start with. We did have a name chance to Unicon.cs for sponsorship reasons but thats all. Yes we have reformed and the lineup is newer (and better) - but im still leading it and it will be the same as it was. It couldn't be to do with the fact that stono was one of the list of people possible for the reformed team - but i decided to not choose him could it? 	Tazzle 16:53 23/1/2005	Here's a loophole that could be used as a wildcard. From the rules: "If a player drops due perminently from the server before the first three rounds are complete, the game must be reschedulled. The player must time out fom the server or similar." So if you want to wildcard, join, play a round, one player pulls out his network cable and f***s off out for the night. Albeit it does require 5 people to start with. We did have a name chance to Unicon.cs for sponsorship reasons but thats all. Yes we have reformed and the lineup is newer (and better) - but im still leading it and it will be the same as it was. It couldn't be to do with the fact that stono was one of the list of people possible for the reformed team - but i decided to not choose him could it?
