CSGN News And Fixtures

The CSGN League is one of the best CS competitions the United Kingdom has to offer, hosting lots of quality matches each week. UKTerrorist brings you weekly updates on both the Premier league and Division 1.

The CSGN team have been busy of late, after we announced their signups had begun for Season #4. The team have now finished the selection process and, as always, have been inundated with potential participants.

Let me put this into some sort of perspective. CSGN has 760 clans registered to its databases. Of course many of these are idle and lay dormant, but evidently many are not. We had over 40 of the previous 50 CSGN Season 3 clans apply before the doors opened to the general CSGN public. This meant that we had roughly 10 spaces available. If only a small fraction of the possible 760 clans applied for these 10 spaces, odds are still very much against your clan joining CSGN. As it happens, we had over 150 new applicants for these spaces.

Since our previous post on the selected teams, certain events have forced the organisers to rethink some of the teams competing, and as such here is the new premiership lineup:

So a strong looking premiership this season, and as an added bonus CSGN have announced that they will be holding an 8 team LAN finals this season to be hosted at Unicon Gaming in Manchester. So with the CB UK IE Cup announcing its LAN finals earlier in the year, and CSGN following suit, will we start to see a growing trend amongst serious UK competitions to ensure that the UK has an increased amount of LAN play. Good news all round as far as most of us are concerned.

The fixtures have also been updated, with the first weeks games being bought to us on de_dust 2 . They are as follows :

CSGN is a consistently clean and well run league, no reason why teams cant involve themselves in UK leagues anymore. despite the UK standard not quite being high enough to call it good practice for these teams who compete internationally, the quality is definitely on the up . so kudos to i-es for competing [ Comment: Report \| IP: Logged ]
