CSGN Premier: Week 4 Matches

CSGN League
The CSGN League is one of the best CS competitions the United Kingdom has to offer, hosting lots of quality matches each week. UKTerrorist brings you weekly updates on both the Premier league and Division 1.

Bad tidings from CSGN Premier as Week 4 commences, as two teams have withdrawn from the competition. Team fightclubclan, a team that have been active in the top ranks of the UK CS scene for as long as I can remember, folded this weekend. I'd like to take this opportunity to wish all fcc players the best of luck in the future.

Fightclubclan's last roster consisted of:

JediBitch - Necroboy - Smittins - Nazg0l - Shav - Poog
The second team that had to withdrawn was one of the favourites for this season's title, Infinity e-Sports. The main reason for this move is officially stated as lack of activity / player shortage.

fcc were replaced by Rush!, a replacement for I-eS is still to be found. Rush!, which were scheduled to play ForsakeN tonight, decided to wildcard in an attempt to buy extra time to prepare.

18:59 31/5/2004		 i didnt have the time to play anymore, and ppl just seemed to have no will to play cs now. its gotten very boring.

and its so much harder nowadays, cs is the realm of the kids, the more time u have free, the better at cs u will be, and who has more free time than 13 yr old kids :D

fcc is inactive currently, so not folding as such, just no active team, we might make a comeback someday! :D

i remember all the talk of 2s2p being online heroes after UKT6 when they crashed out of the group stages, people seem to forget them coming 5th at ukt4 (?) after being seeded 16th

18:15 1/6/2004		 We only ever played 2s2p once on lan @ wgr II where we won 13-5. However this has no bearing on anything at all, people perform differently vs diffo teams. As Smittens says teams form and stature in game varies massively even from day to day. At weekend for WGR III, we hadnt played with a team with Jena in for over a month before the event cuz his degree coming to an end. So all our peformances over the past month which have been g00d havent had nothin to do with Jena.

So after a week of no cs at all for any of us..saturday (night b4) we make last ditch attempt to get some stuff sorted with the 5 that wud play at lan as jena had no clue at all what we did on any map as all our taccys have changed since DracHt joined. This last ditch attempt ended an hour l8r with everyone shoutin at each other ultimately angry and distressed. Im sure lots of clans can relate to this classic way of Pre lan Build Up :D. Every1 stormed off and didnt wanna play at lan cuz we had nothing prepared. However i persuaded every1 to come anyways and even thou its the worst we have ever played, i am still glad we came as we got to meet Drac N Hardy who before lan i expected to be to 16 yr old wieners, however they r really nice guys with no social issues who i would like to keep in the uC spirit of things for a long time to come. Hope yiou guys can relate to what ive said :D sure theres loadsa clans who have done the same Before Lan :D
