Our favourite online shooter is making a move into the world of arcade gaming. CS is taking another step towards world domination by taking its place along side the likes of Street Fighter, Pacman and Time-Crisis in arcades across Japan. Arcade leaders Namco have licensed Counter-Strike for use across Japan, calling it Counter-Strike Neo.
To begin with the cabinets will be tested at LedZone(Babelfish) Lan Centres across Japan. The front-end and control system has been simplified for ease of use. Games will be between two teams of two with future plans to increase team sizes and even eventually host CPL tournaments at special CS arcade arenas.
