As everyone is waiting in anticipation on the upcoming CS:Source release, more and more bits of info are being released to the community.
One of these is the high res version (1024x786) of the E3 trailer (the one we saw with recorded with the crappy camera together with the HL2 trailer) which is now available for download.
If you want to see the movie again, but now in all its glory, you can download the it (93MB) from one of these mirrors:
Over at CS Nation rizzuh has written a preview on the game which is worth checking out, alongside an informative interview on CS:Source with Counter-Strike co-creator Jess Cliffe.

The weapons don't look anything close to attractive, they look plastic like the 1.6 knife
Cars lying around on dust look s***, sparks fly off them when you shoot? Wow
Yay, we can kick barrels around... at LAST
FBs sound like ravenshield ones, very good move
Weather effects on maps and clouds of insects - don't give a f***, will be turned off
The grenade in the video looks like something you'd find in Toys 'R Us, and there was no satisfying boom coming from it, current version of grenades look and sound better
Shield removed, been waiting and shouting long enough for that, good change
More polygons does NOT make better player models. The terrorists were wearing zebraskin pyjamas for f*** sake, how retarded do they want to look?
CS Source is gonna be good, but only for the fact that the maps generally look prettier. The models are s***, some of the stuff added for detail on maps should just be outright removed.
Of course Rizzuh, being a hardcore gamer, took a break from trying to knife people and noticing swarms of insects to have a look at important things such as how stacking does work and the status on shooting through walls, and reported right back to the readership about it [ Comment: Report | IP: Logged ]

Hope that is sarcasm, the new FBs are already annoying me and that's only from watching the videos.

They have stated many times, that none of the model in the BETA are final apart from the Glock and the Beretta, which you can see in the latest screenshots on CSN. The models you see in this are s***e, but there also not the final ones! They have only completed 2 models and are still working on them (lots of ppl moaning about the arms length) and there crouch'ed over position (all tho i think they look like the beta's).
You can kick up a fuss and moan, which most will... but your still gonna play it, your still going 2 buy HL2 and your still gonna moan on the next update!
