CS Source: 10th August

We love this don't we? A new CS/HL update is looming on the horizon and news drips out of Valve's gaping mouth a couple of days at a time. The gaming community then clamber over each drop of information analyzying, predicting and scrutinizing every action they make. Then we poor newsies struggle to turn these off-the-cuff comments into full blown news items.

This time it relates to CS Source, the much anticipated update to Counter-Strike. CS Source promises an updated graphics system to breath fresh blood the Counter-Strike body ensuring its continued prosperity. According to those ever-vigilant folks over at HalfLife2.net CS Source BETA will be released on the 10th August for those proud (or not) owners of Condition Zero.

In Gabe Newell's own words:

August 10th is the day for CZ owners (it will start pre-loading on the 5th).

So Valve are likely to sell more copies of Condition Zero before the release of CS:Source and attain crucial feedback before the full release, those that own CS:CZ are going to be able to play the update first and I managed to extend this small tidbit of information into four paragraphs. So we are all winners, except those of you who read the CS:CZ reviews and decided to steer clear of buying the game.

Listen CZ is here now CS 1.6 is dying CS Source is next get a grip buy the game dont leech it.ffs valve gave u 5 years of cs free.14.99 it costs for cz that aint a lot for a game ur gonna be playing for months years to come.
