Register for CPL World Tour UK

Registrations for the 6th CPL World Tour stop in Sheffield are now open for any teams who wish to apply. There are two Counter-Strike tournaments, listed below:

Male Tournament (32 Teams, $10,000 Prize purse)
Female Tournament (16 Teams, $8000 Prize purse)

The relevant fees are the tournament fee of $35, and the team creation fee of $175.

You can register by following this link, and filling out the relevant forms. Registrations did open yesterday I believe, however it is my understanding that Game Frontier use their own "selection process", and not a first come, first served system.

More information about the tournament can be found here: http://www.gfworldtour.com/. It is interesting to note that teams only seem to be a allowed a maximum of 5 players on the sign up form.

Hopefully this will be a chance for many UK teams to face up against some of the World's most talented gamers.
