CPL Winter Event Registration to Open Friday

Following on from the annoucement stating that CS 1.6 will be the CPL's primary team game earlier this week, they have made a further announcement that registration for the CPL Winter Event will open on Friday.

The Winter Event registration will launch this Friday, August 19, 2005 at noon CST. The online registration will include a $60,000 Counter-Strike 1.6 tournament and open spots for the BYOC. A one-versus-one tournament may be added at a later date.

The Winter 2005 Event will take place at the Hyatt Regency in downtown Dallas, Texas, December 14-18, 2005. The CPL is offering a special admission price of only $40 per person to anyone registering during this weekend (before Monday, August 22, 2005).
