I have a couple of updates regarding the CPL Summer Event this year.
The Cyberathlete Amateur League (CAL) announced today the cancellation of
its online qualifier for the $200,000 Counter-Strike Summer Championship.
Although the community expressed interest in the qualifier, the scheduling
of the tournament conflicted with a number of other initiatives lead by CAL
and CPL.
With $200,000 to give away this year, it's going to be a top notch event. 3400 gamers from 50 countries have already registered to "witness and experience the largest Counter-Strike tournament ever". If you want anymore information click here.

WCG owns CPL anyway. There trying to make it easier for US teams coz Euro teams owns them. CPL is just a yanky tourny with hundreds of US teams and a few euro clans. [ Comment: Report | IP: Logged ]
