CPL France Delayed till 2003

Unfortunately, managing director Ralf Reichert has announced that the CPL Europe France event, which was due to take place at the end of November or sometime in early December, has been pushed back untill early 2003. CPL Europe had the following to say:

CPL Europe announces today that the CPL France event will be postponed to March 2003. With this update of the event schedule the CPL Europe finishes the year 2002 with a total of 3 events.

For the upcoming Tournaments in 2003, starting with CPL France, CPL Europe will especially continue improving live coverage and broadcasting of the events, thus delivering a continous entertainment show for the broad audience. The official tournament games will be Counter Strike and Warcraft 3.

As commented on ShackES this is the 2nd time in as many years the France event has been "rescheduled". Lets hope that when it does eventually happen it turns out to be a brilliant event. Good luck to all the guys working hard at CPL Europe and let's hope that European CS stays on the rise.
